“TOUCH-SCREEN” – “BAND-WAGON”
In these terribly difficult financial times – many around the world are desperate. Between losing a job and the inability to acquire one – people are trying anything to make ends meet. The down side is - though this is abundantly understandable – quite often the customers of a new product (created by those trying to make the ends meet) – become a victim by purchasing something - that just should NOT be on the market.
Such is the case of the touch-screen (capacitance) stylus. STYLUS-R-US has been in business since day 3 of the iPad 1 - three years ago - and sold thousands and thousands of our SRU stylus to customers around the world. Since that time – we’ve seen hundreds of would-be stylus-manufacturer individuals and companies “jump-on-the-stylus-band-wagon” - and make no mistake about it – what they're selling – will not do you justice!
Because most realize the iPad is the future – many are searching high and low - for some type of magical substance or material - that will activate a touch screen device they can market - along with a YOUTUBE video. Present stylus versions range from - a paint brush looking affair – to one that resembles a fish hook – to a stylus that has an electronic plug-in requiring attachment to the pad - to another that requires a wire tethered to your device - to one having a disk - that has to be replaced – to the three zillion cloned rubber tip stylus - to a fat crayon look-alike - to the latest thought-to-be knight-in-shining-armor – the “pointed tip stylus” (if they all haven’t been recalled yet - due to numerous issues).
In brief - the stylus industry has been saturated with nothing but desperate attempts. A circus of crossed fingers. This problem is compounded – when customers of these new hopefuls – in not knowing any better - rate the above mentioned with four or five stars – when the reality is – upon being subject to a simple stylus evaluation criteria - (shown at the bottom called HOW TO RATE ANY STYLUS) - not one - can get past the first test.
Clarified - the stylus industry is being assaulted
by $band-wagon$ hopefuls - you'll have
in a drawer in seconds.
If money is no object – trial & error may be your thing. If your funds small however – you’d be wise to stick with a company that's been in business for years – and is currently known and accepted as the #1 rated stylus in the world - not to forget - provides a LIFE-TIME-WARRANTY on all stylus. Seriously: How does "lose" - fit into that picture?
Too many - are improperly influenced by web “reviews” on the above mentioned stylus - written by people who are only expressing (in a review) - what THEY like - and not what actually makes a great stylus. This is identical to a person buying a slice of pie – takes a few bites - then rates it with 4 or 5 stars on a forum site - three million more read. The next week - they try another pie from a different restaurant – and what do you now – the new pie is now their cream of the crop: the prior – history - no longer worthy of 4 or 5 stars (after causing thousands to buy it).
Below is a perfect "case-in-point". This SRU customer - led him/herself to believe - that the Bamboo stylus was the king. Then - after trying one of our (50 different) stylus - all of his/her prior beliefs - vanished - clearly seeing - we have no - ease-of-screen-activation competition. We all typically believe we have the best - until we actually get the best.

Again: Most - who haven’t yet tried the best – believe what they currently have - is the one to promote – until they run into what really is the best. End result is – because they express liking a particular model (of any product) - you - then believe - you'll like it also: the very format one should never employ.
There use to be a saying – variety is good – and that may be true – but NOT in the stylus industry. Why? Again – someone buys the new kid in town – rates it 4 or 5 stars – and zillions read and believe that review – make the purchase - only to regret it within seconds of touching their screen. If you’re reading this very line – and already have other stylus – this may have happened to you - and your very reason for still looking.
The bottom line is - how many stylus are you going to buy and try – before placing all stylus in the same “JUNK” category - and no longer want to “take-a-chance” in buying another: Total confusion.
SRU believes – it just makes so much more sense – to have a simple – non-complicated stylus – that looks like a pen – because they WERE PENS! A stylus that requires no pressure at all to activate the screen; doesn’t ever need any replacement parts or tips; doesn’t skip – like 100% of all other stylus do; has a lifetime warranty so you know every penny you spend on an SRU stylus – is good - as long as you’re still breathing; doesn’t look like something off a space ship or require any wires or plug in parts – or anything else; can't scratch your screen; isn't made or rubber or foam; just the stylus and your hand - to hold and direct it. Really: Isn't this the way it should be? That's what we offer you and in 50 different models?
We ask that you make a minute or three - to read the emails from our customers. Where in the world have you ever seen such enthusiasm - as in these emails – on ANY other product? It just doesn’t exist. No other stylus incorporates excitement into the products - like Stylus-R-Us.
